Want to make a restaurant-style dish with tofu?
Presenting Tofu Makhani, a savory and buttery main course dish to be enjoyed at the family dinner table.

Ingredients:
• 2 onion, sliced
• 3 tomatoes
• 250g Soyuz tofu
• 1 1/2 tbsp kitchen king powder
• 1/2 tsp chilli powder
• 1/4 tbsp coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp garam masala
• 1-inch ginger, finely chopped
• 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
• 1 tsp kasuri methi
• 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
• 1/4 ground cashew
• 1/4 coconut powder
• 2 tbsp oil

Tofu Makhani vegan Indian recipe

Recipe:
1. Add 1 tbsp oil on a hot pan, saute the sliced onions until they turn golden brown. When done set the onions aside and grind them to a paste along with some water.
2. In the same pan, add some oil, add the sliced ginger and fry until golden brown. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and saute for a minute on medium heat.
3. Puree the tomatoes and add them to the ginger and chili mixture. Add tomato paste, ginger- garlic paste to it too. Cook on medium flame until you see oil being released from the sides.
4. Now at the crushed kasuri methi, chopped coriander leaves and mix.
5. Add the ground onion paste, coriander powder, kitchen king masala, garam masala, and saute for 2 minutes.
6. Now add 1.5 to 2 cups water and let it boil for 3 to 4 minutes in low medium heat until the oil starts floating.
7. Add cashew powder, coconut powder, and more water as needed to dilute gravy and boil it for around 8 minutes. Add salt as per taste.
8. Lastly add the tofu cubes and mix everything.
9. Serve the dish hot.
